Moving Everest welcomes new principal!
Moving Everest is pleased to welcome our new school principal, LaRita Henry. LaRita joins us with an extensive educational background and an excitement to help lead Moving Everest to new and even greater success.
Ms. Henry’s Message to Parents:
Administrators and teachers everywhere recognize the important contributions parents make toward a child’s success in school. There is no question about it - success at school begins at home. Parents are one of the most important variables in a child’s schooling. One of the most important components of a good school is the partnership between the school and parents who work together for the best interest of children. Strive to stay active in your child's education because we certainly realize that you lead busy lives, and it is often difficult to volunteer at the school. However, taking just a few minutes in the evening to read to your child, talk with your child about school, or simply see that your child is organized for the next school day can have significant benefits.
Ms. Henry’s Message to Students:
We have high expectations for all students in academics, behavior, and respect for others. I feel extremely fortunate to belong to a school culture focused on student achievement, a commitment to high expectations, collaboration, and teamwork. It is my utmost intention to carry on these important traditions and practices, while helping to create a warm, caring, and safe environment where children have the opportunity to reach their highest potential. Moving Everest Charter School will strive to provide instructional programs that motivate our students to become life-long learners and to improve our students’ self-esteem and confidence to become ethical citizens and leaders.
