Uniform Policy

At Moving Everest, we are consistently making improvements in order to better serve
your child(ren). Parents, we need your support and partnership in order to ensure that
your child will be prepared, equipped and dressed in the appropriate uniform that aligns
with our school mission and vision. Below you will find a list of approved items so your
child will not be in violation of the school uniform policy.

Moving Everest 2022-2023 School Uniform Expectations

 

Allowed/Mandatory Uniform

K–5th Boys

  • Gray short sleeve or long sleeve polo

  • Khaki pants (no cargo pockets)

  • Solid navy sweatpants (on gym days)

  • Plain solid black belt

K–5th Girls

  • Gray short sleeve or long sleeve polo

  • Khaki pants (no cargo pockets)

  • Khaki capris, shorts, skort/skirt no shorter than 1-inch above the knee

  • Solid navy sweatpants (on gym days)

  • Plain solid black belt

  • Additional Options

  • Solid navy blue cardigan (no hood)

  • Long-Sleeved shirts under short sleeved polo (neutral colors)

  • Purses are allowed if they are smaller than a textbook/notebook

    Jewelry

  • Earrings: stud or less than 1 inch in length and diameter

    Other

  • Scholars may not wear body piercing other than earring studs

  • At no time are scholars to wear anything offensive, immodest, or deemed inappropriate by the faculty

  • Royal Blue short sleeve or long sleeve polo 8th Grade

  • Navy Blue pants (no cargo pockets)

  • Navy Blue skort/skirt (with shorts)

  • Solid navy sweatpants (on gym days)

  • Plain solid black belt

  • Solid navy blue cardigan (no hood)

Not Allowed Uniform

  • Skirts or Jumpers no shorter than 1 inch above knee

  • Colored Belts

  • Hooded sweatshirts or sweaters

  • Colored or patterned socks, tights, or leggings

Shoes

  • Tennis shoes that light up or glow

  • Sandals, slide-ins, flip-flops, and Crocs. The shoe must cover the entire heel and toe

Jewelry

  • Earrings longer than 1 inch

  • Necklaces: not exposed

  • Bracelets

  • Rings

Other

  • Distracting headbands, head scarves, bonnets (excluding religious attire)
