Moving Everest Charter School Chosen as 2025 Invest for Kids Grant Recipient

We are thrilled to announce that Moving Everest Charter School has been selected as a recipient of a grant from Invest for Kids for the 2025–2026 school year. This award reflects Invest for Kids’ commitment to fostering a rich ecosystem of organizations that lift up Chicago’s most in‑need youth, with an average grant size of $200,000 per grantee.

This generous support arrives at a pivotal moment for Moving Everest, a school set in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago that believes in an “Every Minute Matters” mindset—where every moment is an opportunity to move scholars closer to success.

Our mission—to dramatically transform the lives of our K–8 students, preparing them for high school, college, and life by sharpening their minds, developing their character, and elevating their vision—is deeply aligned with Invest for Kids’ focus on education, enrichment, mentoring, and college and career readiness.

With this grant, Moving Everest will continue to raise the bar for our students; ensuring that they receive the academic, social, emotional, and physical support needed to thrive.

About Invest for Kids

Invest For Kids is dedicated to supporting highly impactful nonprofit organizations that serve Chicago area youth in low-income circumstances. We host an annual investment conference where industry leaders share their best ideas. Our co-founders underwrite 100% of the conference expenses, allowing all proceeds from the conference to be awarded to our nonprofit partners and ongoing initiatives.
